Found this is a box of random stuff...very random.

Day 46: February 15, 2010

Jaiden gave me his "tweet tweet" for Valentine's day, but first he needed to demonstrate how it ate hearts.

Day 45: February 14, 2010

I gave the boys scooters for Valentine's day and Bryce got a helmet and elbow/knee pads too. I think he was more excited for those than candy.

Day 44: February 13, 2010

Day two of "To write love on her arms".

A night in just enjoying being home with some Bitch Bubbly, Glee Volume 1, a fire and magnetic mahjong. What could be better?

Day 29: January 29, 2010

Last day of fun in NJ. Some of my rad coworkers and I took pics before I left. Just realized they are both red heads. Brunette in the middle lol...sounds like a bad tv show.

Day 28: January 28, 2010

Looking at the snow out of the window in NJ.

Day 27: January 27, 2010

Other than my random trips to NYC when I had time I felt like it was just sleep, work and eat. There is an ecuadorian place near the plant that has great food for cheap. yum.

Day 25: January 25, 2010

This bakery apparently was featured on Sex and the City for their cupcakes. I didn't eat a cupcake but their red velvet cheesecake was heavenly.

Day 24: January 24, 2010

I have no idea what this building is, or exactly where in NYC it was, but it looked cool. I was walking around NYC again, this time with a coworker, and we were looking for authentic New York style bagels. She really wanted one and it turned into more of an adventure that we had planned but she got one. We finally found the bagels she was looking for at Milk and Honey which was off of W 45th...I think. Anyways, today was an exciting day. I saw where Letterman films, went to NBC studios, Rockafellar Center, the Empire State Building, Central Park, found a pair of shoes, and went to Magnolia Bakery which is supposed to make amazing cupcakes. I haven't tried the cupcake yet but their red velvet cheesecake was amazing.

Day 23: January 23, 2010

I went to NYC on Saturday night to go to the Rockwood Music Hall to see Colin Smith...or anyone really. I was bored and spending the night in NYC sounded a lot more exciting than staying in Morristown NJ. And was it..heck yes it was. I had an amazing time. This was a picture I stopped to take on the walk back to Penn Station. I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle walking back but all is good. I will survive.

Day 22: January 22, 2010

So I have been to Morristown NJ many times this past year and every time I get near the hotel I see this sculpture. Actually, everytime it scares the crap out of me because it catches me off guard. Anyways, I finally found out what it is all about. Apparently Morristown is home to the very first seeing eye dog school in the country. It was founded here in 1929. That's pretty cool huh? I think I may have to find out more about this place.

Behind...

Just to let everyone know I have been taking my pictures I just don't have my cord to upload the ones from my camera. I will catch up when I get back to Seattle on the 1st.

Friday, January 22, 2010

Day 21: January 21, 2010

Right before midnight I was listening to music on my iPhone and realized I did not take a picture yet so I took one of the thing that represented my day the best. What I was listening to at that moment in time, which was what I was also listening to pretty much all day. I love Howie's cd and have been listening to it almost non-stop. So so good.

Day 20: January 20, 2010

These are my New Jersey shoes. Shiny zebra print. How more awesome could you get? I mean, really? Actually I bought these because I thought they were cute and I like shiny shoes but everyone is now calling them my NJ shoes because I bought them before this trip and well..you know they are stereotyping. lol Anyways, they are super comfy and were inexpensive...and I love them. Go Target! lol

Can you tell I'm running out of ideas?

Day 19: January 19, 2010

So they built out a new section of the building at our facility in NJ and took out all the tables, chairs, and kuzies (sp?) from the hallways so its really empty. Its also a pretty long walk to the new area as well. Oh well, at least I get a work out a few times a day making this walk.

Day 18: January 18, 2009

This is home for the next two weeks. Hyatt in New Jersey. Lovely huh? I seriously have stayed here at least once a month since September. At least its comfortable. Now if only they would quit effing up my reservations all would be good.

Sunday, January 17, 2010

Day 17: January 17, 2010

I told you I took a picture this day. lol This was the night before I left for NJ. Alicia, Liz and I (along with Liz's husband and Sara's boyfriend) went to see Howie Day at the new Crocodile Cafe. This was the first show I have seen there since it was renovated. It was nice and a great venue. I love the new stage but I kind of miss the old decor. I wonder what happened to the crocodile that was hanging from the ceiling? hmm...something to think about.

Day 17: January 17, 2010 (Placeholder)

I did in fact take a picture for this day, but since I had to leave for NJ before I could upload it the picture is on my desktop at home in Seattle. So here is my placeholder for when I get home and can update.

Day 16: January 16, 2009

No time to edit this and make it look prettier, not that Howie doesn't look pretty...what I am saying is.. I don't have time to do any editing. I just got back from watching Howie Day play an amazing show in Portland and now I need to go to bed so that I can go run errands, do laundry, pack and then go see Howie again with some friends. After the show last night I am even more excited. The Aladdin is an amazing venue, but its a theater. Tonight's show is at The Crocodile which is a smallish club venue. So excited.

Alright, well bedtime for now.

Day 15: January 15, 2010

I guess my youngest nephew wanted in on the photo taking action. lol

Here he is a day after he split his head open (you might be able to see the staple in his forehead) and he is all smiles (the camera is covering the smile but you can see it in his eyes...Tyra would be proud). I love him so much :) Nothing gets him down. Even when he called me yesterday to tell me about his booboo he was all happy and laughing on the phone while he waited in the emergency room.

If I hadn't been sick or thinking I was going to work today I would have driven right over there when he asked me if I could go to his house. I'd do anything for this little guy.

Day 14: January 14, 2010

Today was exciting...really...it was...

So I spent the whole day at home sick. Last nights dinner did not agree with me and well let me spare you the details and just leave it at that. So today all I did was stare at computer screens in my room. Doing work from home and also looking through photos and organizing my personal computer. I realize now I have a lot of programs on my computer. And those are just the ones I use a lot.

Exciting right?

Day 13: January 13, 2010

This reminds me of being a kid and going to stores/malls/restaurants/etc and seeing these "magic" machines that you put a quarter in and it gave you a tasty treat or a fun toy to play with. Usually they were taller than me or had a intricate delivery system that mezmerized, but sometimes it was just a the ones that you put the coin in and turned the knob and either candy or a small plastic "egg" with the toy came out. Amazing right?

Now looking back I think about how I could have gotten a whole pack of gum or a candy bar for that price, and how much of those "fun" toys were just crap. I think the real magic was actually getting mom or dad to give me the quarter. I get it now mom and dad...but i still want a quarter to get me a gumball.

I think I was really tired when I took this picture. It was late, there was a candle burning next to me while I was getting ready for bed. So here is a picture of the candle from the top view. I just thought it looked kind of cool. It also reminded me of wall art from ikea or something.

Day 11: January 11, 2010

Uploaded this to flickr but didnt post it here. So I'm playing catch up.

Day 11: January 11, 2010, originally uploaded by violentsweetperfect.
You know your mind works in a weird way when you read that piece of wall decor and automatically think of it as a punch line. Thats exactly what I did.

Its raining again....all because two people fell in love.

Children are starving...all because two people fell in love.

They are starting a new season of American Idol...all because two people fell in love.

Conan is being cancelled and Leno is getting his show back....all because two people fell in love.

Kind of makes you want to punch these two people in the face right?

Anyways. I may need to seek help...or whatever. lol

Day 10: January 10, 2010

Ironically I opened the fortune cookie to find this fortune while sailing the across the Puget Sound from Seattle to Bremerton...the cold cold waters of the Puget Sound. Let's hope this wasn't the trip they were talking about.

Day 9: January 9, 2010

Day 9: January 9, 2010, originally uploaded by violentsweetperfect.

I crashed hard yesterday and spent most of the afternoon asleep so todays pic had to be one that I had randomly taken on Saturday. This is also the reason that I am posting the picture late, at least I took one right?

So yesterday was the one year anniversary of my gym being open and we had a party to celebrate. Everyone ate, drank, we had a raffle and of course fitness challenges. This is a pic of some of the kids doing the push up challenge (how many push ups can you do in a minute). It was so cute I had to take a picture. They weren't all quite doing push-ups but every once and awhile they would get a good one in. We were all so busy taking pictures and commenting on the cuteness of it all that we forgot to count so they all won. Which is how it should be.

Day 8: January 8, 2010, originally uploaded by violentsweetperfect.
Just got home from the Barcelona show at Chop Suey. Those guys are AMAZING! One of my top bands for sure. What also made the show amazing is that the band The Pale Pacific opened. They were one of my favorite bands after I saw them play with Limbeck back in the day. I don't even remember how long ago it was. I do remember that it was before they had to change their name from The Pale because another band was going to sue them.

Anyways, this pic is of Chris from Barcelona. He is so much fun to watch because of his energy, so today's picture is of him. I can't wait to see them play again and hear more new music. Maybe if I see them again this year I will make Superman(Rhett) or Brian my pic of the day...but today its all about Chris :)

Ultimate dinner food...breakfast! lol Or Brinner as the awesome Dr Turk from Scrubs called it. So what to do when ladies are hungry and don't want to cook? We head to the local IHOP and get us some all you can eat pancake breakfast foods for dinner.

This is my roommate trying to calculate how many pancakes she can safely eat before she explodes...not really but I have no idea what she was thinking at this point in time. She might have been listening to the other roomie tell a story. I like my explanation better though.

The view from my office at work. While sometimes work sucks and I would rather be anywhere else, I have to admit I have a pretty rocking view out of my window.

Today was a little gray and cloudy but still a nice site when really tired. I hate working under artifical light so my office lets me keep them off until it gets dark.

Well, back to the grind.

Day 5: January 5, 2010, originally uploaded by violentsweetperfect.
Old school nintendo. Thats right peeps, Nintendo NES. I remember when we upgrated from and ATARI to the NES. It was so cool, and we were addicted right away. Even my mom who did the whole flailing witht he controller because that made Mario jump higher. Silly Mom.

Anyways, my favorite games were Super Mario Bros 3 and Paperboy. A few years ago I decided I decided I really wanted to play Super Mario Bros 3 and went to the only logical place to make this happen...Ebay. $50 later I was once again the proud owner of a Nintendo NES game system and about 20 games...including Super Mario Bros 3. Score!

Still wanting to buy an inexpensive copy of Paperboy . If you know of a place let me know. Otherwise I may just have to go back to ebay.

Day 4: January 4, 2010

, originally uploaded by violentsweetperfect.
As usual my New Year's resolution is the same as most people, get healthy. I did really good with this last year until the holiday season. From Halloween to Christmas. I figured part of the problem was eating out, so I am cooking more. This was my lunch. Doesn't it look pretty? It was an experiment but it came out tasting amazing and I like that it is very colorful.

I promise tomorrow I will try for a picture that is more interesting than food but it was either that or another walking in the rain picture.
