This reminds me of being a kid and going to stores/malls/restaurants/etc and seeing these "magic" machines that you put a quarter in and it gave you a tasty treat or a fun toy to play with. Usually they were taller than me or had a intricate delivery system that mezmerized, but sometimes it was just a the ones that you put the coin in and turned the knob and either candy or a small plastic "egg" with the toy came out. Amazing right?
Now looking back I think about how I could have gotten a whole pack of gum or a candy bar for that price, and how much of those "fun" toys were just crap. I think the real magic was actually getting mom or dad to give me the quarter. I get it now mom and dad...but i still want a quarter to get me a gumball.

haha seriously... it was always a crapshoot to figure out if mom would give you a quarter - and what about the stickers that were 50 cents? you'd be like "can i have a quarter?...........do you have another one?" haha.
